You can make fish food in the provisions house for bread- and when it is made it will appear in your star menu and you can then apply it to a fish deposit. These deposits can hold hundreds of thousands of fish if you so desire.

Sorry to bump an old thread, i only just started playing and the fish deposit i have my fisheries around is already getting low, if it runs out before i am able to make bread will it dissapear? or will it still be there with zero fish so i can throw bread at it when i get some?
Welcome to the game Lorflin. If you cannot add fish food to an area, it will run out of fish and your fisherman wont be able to supply you with fish. As soon as you do make fish food, apply it to the area that you need fish and you will restart getting fish again. If you can't make fish, ask a friend to apply the fish deposit for you.
