Question What is the use of Elite Soldiers?

According to the tooltips, the only difference between Militia, Soldiers, and Elite Soldiers is health. They all do the same damage (though ES have 5% more "to hit" whatever that means) - they only cost more.

So a battle where you go in with 100 recruits and 100 militia losing 99 recruits would still lose 99 recruits if you went in with 100/100 ES.

Given this, why would you EVER use ES except in a battle where you are losing them? Do such battles exist? Everything I've seen has been centered around losing recruits if possible, militia if profitable, and soldiers if you must. Show me the battles where loss of ES is a profitable idea.

Lets say you have a of of small battles in which the damage is fixed- your meatshield portion of the wave is usualy 15 recruits to absorb 620 damage. With e-soldiers you can send 13 recruits and 2 E-soldiers and they wont die- since the 100 damage is not enough to kill one. This is just an example, but is a way to limit losses over time.

But in this case, we can still use 13R and 2S. S will not die from 80 damage too, also losing an amount of 2R is negligible.

@ original post, if u send 100ES/100R instead of 100M/100R u can save about 10 more R depending on the opponent. But again, u won't care about 10R, at least I don't. But if u have a camp of 200ES in PvP, that camp will probably won't be defeated easily.

Every troop has a damage range for when they attack. For Recruits, it's 15 - 30. The Accuracy value determines the % of time each damage value occurs. Recruits have an Accuracy value of 80%, so that means that 80% of the time, they'll do 30 hitpoints worth of damage, and 20% they'll do 15 hitpoints. They'll never do damage in between their damage values - i.e. a Recruit will never do 20 hitpoints worth of damage.

The 90% accuracy is not much but over time you will see some small benefits from this- some rounds shortened here and there and enemies being finished off where they otherwise wouldn't have been.
