Its only to the first 10 people or the first 10 people who type in the code so pretty much everyone minus 10 people didnt get squat. Oh well I guess, I will know next time not to even try.

this isn't a contest, it's a giveaway for people who have nothing better to do than sit on their computer during business hours. what about us who don't have the luxury of that kind of job?

I've been at my computer, logged in to the game and the forums all day long and as far as i can tell, from those 2 places, there's no event of any kind going on in either place. if it's not happening in one of those places then it's a pretty far-fetched expectation that anyone will participate, lol.
These things I very firmly believe: -That government should butt out. -That freedom is our most precious commodity and if we are not eternally vigilant, government will take it all away. -That individual freedom demands individual responsibility. -That the tree of liberty needs to be watered from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. -That any group of people willing to give up a little freedom for a little organization will lose both and deserve neither.

I guess this is a good thing for the few people that are able to do it. But when most of us work during the day and are not able to log into Facebook/Twitter. So it makes it worthless to us. I think that you should do something that everyone has a chance to play.

You taking pot shots at all of us for doing UBI and BB the favor of supplying them with invaluable feedback is the objectionable action here. If you don't have any feedback to offer; positive, negative or otherwise, then what, truly, was the point of posting your needlessly critical and valueless insight on this matter?

I highly doubt that anyone misconstrue the contest as something that "everyone" could win, or that everyone had an "equal chance". thanks for supplying us with that little tid-bit tho.

Your lottery example is cute, but that's all it is. You're not gonna go to a church house, or state capital to buy a lottery ticket; you're going to go to the appropriate venues for those things and all people here are trying to express is that they feel facebook, twitter, google, or world of warcraft are not appropriate venues to hold such events and have no intention, time, desire or interest in participating if they're going to be held in those place. that's all. And i think the devs would appreciate them saying so, more than if they didn't, because i find it hard to believe that they want to hold events that people aren't going to participate in.
i like the fire but i agree with Rantankerous, the whole point of the contest is to get exposure for the facebook and twitter page. clearly it's not about giving prizes away to players willy nilly. you should just play the game and be successful in doing that instead of joining the rest of the forum to whine about what you didn't but should have gotten

I have to say whomever is your social media marketing manager should learn empathy and how to be polite. Their posts answering peoples questions about the event is not only snarky but rude enough that if I see another post from them with similar tone I'm cancelling my account and will have my husband cancel his as well. Insulting your users isn't a good way to build your brand.

Its a free game. They give 0 shits if you cancel your account because one of their employees didnt offer to wipe your *** with a velvet cloth. You've got some thin skin, but thats ok. The world isn't obligated to turn our spines to jelly just to suit you.

The only post in this thread from anyone at Ubi/BB was the initial post. Everyone is is just another player.

Free games also do have a huge amount of turnover. Cancel accounts is a non-threat for this kind of game.
