I would have to say that the introduction of gem items to the trade market should have ended all these scams. If you are still doing player to player transactions, stop. Simple as that.

Intresting that I am commenting 10 months later that the "crooks" of the game are specifically targetting new players. On my first day I was targetted by several people. I suggest that all new players just DO NOT TRADE with anyone in your first few days. Even though there are missions that get you to start trading. I suggest that you do not trade anyways.
It's like I'm playing a different game that most people. I don't trade anything with anyone that isn't on my friend's list, in my guild, or in a guild that I trust is legit.
Sadly Malt common sense is not common.
The guy shouldn't be gifting anybody anything. He should just buy the noble himself and then post the noble for trade for the amount the other guy requested.
Since nobles are trade-able.
If you got scammed well shame on you.
Problem 1. Not all Giftable items are Tradeable. Problem 2. the +1 spot for Adventures is also non-tradeable. As long as it stays this way, players will post one fish for coin, promising an LS or a Gift. Most players will come thru, but not everyone.
