Like all business and production chains, starting a gold chain is rough at first. But once you get the buffs going it's pretty nice to have the extra coins coming in.
My advice: hang in there and keep it up, soon it will pay for itself and earn you the coins that you need for upgrades or buying resources.
If you're impatient, the gold chain is not for you. Nor is this game for that matter.

if you are selling baskets for six coins i'll gladly take you up on that offer, cause the resources themselves cost around 18 coins
totally didn't think that through, thanks voidhearted cause i was using the cost of buffs for the entire mine's worth of ore, not just one buff

4.35 coins worth of materials per basket, and you can easily get them for less than what i used in this example.

Its a personal choice on gold production.If it works fr you great, if not, then dont do it. I have a gold chain, and it works well for me, but its not for everyone. Does it really mattr who is right about an issue that has no concrete answer? It all depends on the time spent on line, and the ability to schedule yur time to keep it running, on wether it is right for u. Who cares wo is right if u want to hate cecause People havefound away t make alot of gc and u donthave the time, resolve or organizational skills to do it, fine. I will take the 1000 gc profit a day i make from it, and laugh all the way when im buying my bread and weapons from my guildies to d adventures and level up. Good gaming to all
