Good Great or Perfect?
Good Great or Perfect?
"The one that got away isn't always
the one that fell in love"
It's good game that could sure use some tweeking.
It's good so far but still waiting on the pvp part of the game and how it turns out before I can give it a great or perfect rating. It's a very good building management type of game tho.
i'd give it a fair rating, too many things need easy improvements to be into the good yet
It's moderate at best. Global chat is still pretty racist and sexist and is stinking up anything good and enjoyable about the game, but you can't just leave it forever and still expect to sell things that nearly require advertising there like adventures.
It may not be cesspit levels it has historically been recently, but it's still pretty bad and is still about 30% of the time on the topic of "how bad are women?"
Edit: Today is apparently bonus high racism content day!

The Home Island is a great start BUT
The speed of development is bad the amount done since launch in July means this will be a fringe game at best.
The slow pace of adventures makes this game very casual for most players (taking an hour to refill a general is horrible game play and a very basic error in playability which is concerning as it reflects on the ability of the developers to anticipate player base basic needs).
The horrible trade system which has been in effect for how long without a change is again concerning for the above reasons and reflects upon the ability of the developers to initiate obvious needs that are relatively quick changes for most games.
The reason developers make games in a browser environment is because it is quick to make changes to code and the stability of the code is high. I would really enjoy this game but it feels like bluebyte is a very smaller player with a very small team developing this game. Having played online since EQ to my last sub game being Rift I can say that his game could clean up in the casual gaming market and knock off games like Evony and take players from Sub games that either want a fill in game or something that is not as demanding on time. I am confused why they are spending money on banner ads when they should spend that on developing a more well rounded game. However, I know the reason why they are underfunded for this project either by budget or necessity and so they have pressure to perform when they should have pressure to develop. Here is to hoping that they figure it out but right now I will not spend money on a game that should have, could have - I will wait like many will at this stage.
Wrong on both counts. Browser development is done because the "client" is ubiqitous. Everyone has a web client now. That says nothing about the degree of complexity in the application developed. Code stability is directly related to the developers' skill. The reason developers make games in a browser environment is because it is quick to make changes to code and the stability of the code is high.
developers skill...i love ubisoft and bluebyte games but i notice all that i've played run pretty buggy. this goes for HOMM 6, settlers 7 and this CEO. I'm loyal to a degree but they do put out an inferior game quality. Just gotta run with it I guess.
Its a OK game, but thats about it. To many things are way to slow, and the gold/gem cost is to high.
