Hey, this is a thread where you can name some bandit troops, and hope that someone will reply to what troops you need, i did this for a reason, the bandits have these troops: 40 Guard Dogs 100 Thugs 60 Rangers -------What would i need?

No Prob, just notice its gonna be a two wave type thing sadly. I didn't even see an option to tackle that in one wave even if ya had cannons. When camps are two waves like that I usually toss a 200 recruit wave or so at it and then sim it out from there. Sometimes these sims will say send 120 recruits and whatever else on the 2nd just gotta play with the numbers and see what the best is you can come up with.

The use of Soldiers would allow a 1-wave victory against that camp. For example, 100R/100S would do it, though you'd lose 80S in the process. Or 75R/50M/75S would work. I'm not clear on why the suggestions avoided any use of Soldiers - I don't use that functionality within the sim, so I don't really know how it works.
Angal - a basic strategy for for figuring out which troops to even try is this: If the bandit camp has troops with the "Attack Weakest" attribute, (like Dogs, Wolves, etc.), it pretty-much eliminates Cavalry, Bowmen, Longbowmen and Crossbowmen from your troop options. These troops will take the brunt of the attack from the bandit's Attack Weakest troop. That typically leaves you with a Recruit-based attack, (like the battle sim suggested and like I used above).
If the bandit camp doesn't have Attack Weakest troops inside, then your Cavs become an excellent option to get in quick & kill some bandits early in each round. But that means you next need to look for bandits with "First Strike" attributes, as they'll get an early shot at your troops too. Unless you can wipe the bandits out with one round of hits from your Cav, you're likely to need some type of meat shield in front of your Cavalry. Recruits fill this role nicely. You can then add in ranged weapons for additional damage, depending on what you're trying to kill. Once you're able to build Crossbowmen, you'll be happy with the overall reduction in troop losses.
The battle sim at castleempiresim.com is awesome in that it'll show you the order of attack for each round. The German site Dreasfear linked is excellent for running a single configuration up to 1000 times to improve the accuracy of the results.
Yea there were 4 pages of suggestions so that one might have been on there but I dont remember seeing it.
