Its because of the Generals Path changes that were made a few weeks ago. The Generals walk a slightly different path now, so it makes skipping some Camps extremely difficult and others simply impossible.

What?? Voidheartd Adventure Guides back up again??
YEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!!! Finally we can all stop using the other 2nd class adventure guides we've been using as substitutes and get back to the best ones around. Thank You for getting the problem fixed quickly.

I've noticed a problem with the horseback guide on normal mode. when attacking sector 2 you can't get by without taking out camp 7 and in sector 5 I can't attack the leader without crossing camp 14 area.
Just something I noticed this is probably due too the new paths.

Yes bartimaeus lemme tell you how to fix this...
Go to http://cempire.org/index.php?title=Horseback in another tab. (yes cempire is back now)
Pick which guide you would like (I prefer Voidheartd's Guide.
Most of Voidheartds's guide is up to date except general's placement on L2, Block 2 and Block 3 (3 is not mentioned,I created this version). The version of Block 2 his guide asks requires a bit more blocking skill and timing. I advise you use these videos below for blocking reference and counting seconds on moves. This guide is for people doing horse back who only want to use 1 recruit for blocks and people who would rather block than take needless camps. Horseback has changed a little bit recently, and this guide fixes that. (P.S Sector 2's Leader requires a NEW x for your general to get to L2 without interception, I've marked it as the NEW x2 above L1)
Block one is simple and still works. I let my blocker walk 5'ish paces before I send my attacking General and keep in mind you have to use normal generals to block because fast generals will lose faster. Most these blocks are easy and you don't have to wait to send your next general, you can send them both in quick succession for simplicity.
Use this video for block 1 Sec.3 on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MT0Qo-BBQ-Q (I prefer to just line the blocker up with C3 which is 5-6 paces, same pace count as attacking gen to leader, so all you have to do is send blocker to attack first then in quick succession send attacking gen for leader)
Use this video for block 2 Sec.4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tK_rTW0G0JY
Block 3 is a NOT on a video (well people have their own methods, but mine requires only 1 recruit and is very, very simple). Going step by step I will try and explain your generals positions and timing them accurately with an easy-to-use method. (for those expierenced, send attacker first, wait a second until unit walks out and steps once more and send blocker quickly after. If they walk in sync and blocker closely side-to-side figureatively to attacker you should be fine.)
x7a - Attacker
x8b - Blocker
Block 3 starts on Sector 6, so unlike most guides you will be doing Sec.6 before 5. Assuming you've cleared all other sectors (1-4), I've created NEW X spots for your generals in this (you should be able to tell which x's I drew =P).

Place blocking general at x8 and general attacking L6 at x7. If you cannot see where to place your generals perfectly, x8 is closest to the red bars in between the lone tree and the cactus. x7 is placed directly Southeast evenly lined up to L6.
Timing is everything, so I've found counting your general's pace markers before you send them is crucial. x7a will be first to move since he is farther away from his bandit camp, followed by your blocking general at x8b. Since your blocking general, x8b, has 5 or so "paces" (the red dots that mark his path after you click the attack button in your gen's menu or transfer)and x7a has about 8, you want them reach their destinations at the perfect time. Meaning x7a landing into the red-zone right after x8b disappears into and/or engages the camp.
To do this, take general x7a and count his paces until he is on the marker right before he enters the red-zone on bandit camp C14's interception area. Say it is 8 paces to the marker him and 5 for x8b, you would send out x8b after 1-3 paces moved on x7a, (subtracting 1-2 extra seconds for blocker to safely engage) 8-5=3-1=2 paces. Sending x8b 2 paces after x7a would ensure a perfect block. Send and retreat if you must to estimate speeds, but I find my approach to work very well for myself.
After you take out the L6, send your x7a (or any non-recovering) general to x9 to take Sector 5's L5. All it is is coming around from the back of the mountain. The guides tell you that you can go straight up to L6 from x6 on the cempire.org map but you cannot do that any longer without getting intercepted. Thanks for checking it out, give me feed back if you have questions! Love to hear how well this works for anyone! I had this on my Guild webpage but unfortunately you have to have an account and password to get in, so I just copy and pasted most of it. Gobz out! (Cempire.org was down again apparently hacked idk, but the guide link didnt work until it went back up. I noticed month's earlier comments about cempire.org being down :P i guess this is its second time or more....here's another if this happens again http://forum.thesettlersonline.net/t...venture-Guides xbow only though.

O for that SFTR thing about walking paths... On the watchtowers on L6 and L7 (i believe) just take out the wolves or you can send 200 cav (regular general only) at L6 and take both towers (being careful not to get intercepted and have the retreat button out once they are done with second tower) then take out L6. after, send cav's at L7 and they will be intercepted by towers and not wolves and take other two. Once your cav's are battling the last tower send Gen to attack L7 at the same time. Assuming your using Voidheartd's of course.

With cempire being broken, I can't access Voidheartd's Guides any longer

I know, i found this guide that works well for the time being on troop count and bandit camp requirements anyways. http://forum.thesettlersonline.net/t...venture-Guides

I think we are going to have to start doing some cut & paste and get ALL adventure guides here on the forum. When cempire.org gets attacked/goes down, it's very inconvenient. =(
