The phrase "quality over quantity" comes to mind... little wonder as to why.

We work on quality. If we spammed allies, we wouldn't require ventrilo, website and that job commitment to help run an alliance.

I must also be said, in the history of the warfare of this world, we have seen many times numbers do not mean victory, and quiet the opposite, in many cases we have seen the few, defeat the many. Victory is determined by tactics, and deception, not lots of people

A point i make often to my guidlies when talking about warefare.

Tsun zhu beat 350,000 troops, with just 30k.
Greeks fought 1 million troops, with 300 (or just over)
Romans defeated 180,000 Gulls, with just 17,000 troops.

    Its all about tactics.

So glad that you acknowledge the deception part in all of this. You're making PvP into an all out world war. PvP is supposed to be friendly fighting but you're getting everyone revved up. Don't you have enough lemmings following you or do you really need a bigger power trip to fuel your ego?

Im the one with the ego, and yet you seem to crawl out of the woodworks every time i post something on the forum. I think the only one with an ego, is you, who's only desire is to pick a fight with me on any of the thread. Go do something productive.

We have a limit on our alliances size, and when that is met, we will likely stop accepting people.
Further more, I am not the leader of this alliance, Just so you know. The leader is elected by the senate, who is made up of all the guilds leaders, and officers.

in short, troll somewhere else, and stop screaming for attention.

I only pick fights when I see abuse or sheer stupidity going on.

The speculation for PvP is getting out of hand. First you have everyone freaking out that they'll get jumped so they join guilds for "protection" (still not sure how a guild will "protect" it's members beyond retaliation on the aggressor).

And then we have people like you fanning these hysteria flames by trying to have guilds join alliances which is the previously mentioned process on a much larger scale.

I argue that your "Alliance" doesn't offer anything. Not one of these benefits are there that I can't get in my own guild or any guild can create with their own dedicated members. Your Phoenix Alliance is a waste of memory space on the internet.

This is coming from someone who has never been on vent.
Who thinks the only reason for an alliance is pvp.

I would expect more intellect, and sense of community for a guild i admire as an example of such things.

I would expect more ... for a guild i admire as an example of such things.
Aside from the trolls who enjoy such public spats, I think I can say on behalf of the rest of us ... We expect more from both of you. Some of us are currently uncommitted and potential future recruits and we are watching, carefully (at least in my case).

Unsolicited advice: There's rarely any harm in taking the higher road.

I agree hob, However, the problem is the highroad does not work in games. you ignore trolls, and everyone accepts it as truth.
you engage, and you become one.

Really, the only solid way to destroy it, is to refute them, and embarrass them. then they will learn not to open their mouth. (bluntly Put).

    There is an old addage
