Cool How do you Target a Specific camp in a cluster?

I have played for 4 weeks now and am lvl 31, read up on some guides and asked some friends.. but am still a little confuzed... i understand blocking i think... use mutible generals and engage with 1 troop a camp you want to block while you attack the camp you want to attack. I also understand placing your garrison so you can enter a camp from the bottom right without encroaching in another camps red zone.

what i dont understand is with just 2 generals and multible camps like this one around mary. what determines what camp/camps my troops will attack if all camps have over lapping redzones and my troops enter the zone of all 4 camps? logic says it will be the Camp i target unless theres a closer entrance to a camp thats closer.

Basically whatever red zone your general enters first, that will be the camp your general hits. Now if both red zones are overlapping exactly where your general entered I would think he would go to the one you clicked on to attack as well, but it wouldnt be the first time something didn't work out like I had planned in this game. My advice would be to find the spot where you know you're going to hit the camp you intended and work with that.

    Signature by me!

ok. all of marys camps are gone...... on the last one to her left i decided to skip it, my general approached Marys hut from the opposite side of the last remaining camp as normal.. and my General walked right by marys hut and attacked the last camp.................. took me to long to find the retreat button... waves by by to 200 ponies.. not a total loss, that last camp was killed 80%.

WHY did my general march right by marys hut that i had targeted?

On your island, bandit camps have an "aggro" area, indicated by the red square that's highlighted when you click on the camp. No idea what aggro is short for, but it essentially indicates the area of patrol that a camp monitors. If your general walks into an aggro area, he will attack that camp.

The exception to this is as follows: If you've targeted camp A, and your general walks into camp A's aggro area, he can safely pass through any other camp's aggro area without consequence. But if he walks through camp B's aggro area first, on the way to camp A, he will attack camp B first. If he defeats camp B, he'll then proceed onto camp A.

On your island, (and on most adventures), boss camps lack the aggro area. So it sounds like you targeted Mary's camp but entered the aggro area of another camp on the way.
