    Bandwidth usage

I haven't found this information anywhere, does anybody know whats the bandwidth usage of Castle Empire?
Is it better to log-in once, and stay online for 2 hrs straight or to log-in every now and then for 10 minutes? (Not sure how much the loading of the game uses).

    Thanks

I'm betting that the loading of the game is pretty big. Not sure how much Caching cuts down on that though, or how much is cached.

to even have to ask that question means you have a bad connection/slow system no a 900Mhz Packard Bell is not a wise option. The game loads in 4 sec for me.

Is an interesting question. Some ISP companies have a FAP (Fair Access Policy) which limits our bandwidth limit. Am curious now since I am one of those ISP customers.

im on vacation with mobile internet, and with all the server call fails i get during the day, plus changing zones alot, i use around 300mb a day for the game, every time you load a different zone it will eat bandwidth like crazy even with alot of data stored in browser cache

I was using a connection that gave me data usage for each session. (last year sometime)
It used about 1 meg to load each zone moved to, and a bit of data for things like buffing and making provisions.
If all I did was load my island, chat and make provisions/troops, several hours could only end up using 2 meg.
This assumes your connection is good enough to not get server call fails. That's 1 meg each time you have to reload your island and can add up quick.

I would like a fact list on what TSO requires in the terms of bandwidth, graphic requirements ect.

However its fairly clear, faster is better. (low ping for you nerd heads like me )

dont believe they will tell us how much traffic their site can handle.. seems like a trap question.

vulnerabilitys are never a good thing,

i know many people that keep their empire on 24/7. they seem to never have a problem. i stay loged in for 1-4 hrs at a time
