Is the 48k gems for $100 deal gone permanently?
I wouldn't risk buying gems atm with the current server hiccups BUT from the way I've seen it work is they have random gem sales. Some sales are 50% more gems or 30% off price for each package. Either way these happen randomly from time to time and while I've only been around for 2-3 holidays I've noticed they usually have sales right before the holiday events...hope this answers your question, as permanently gone I don't think so but right now it seems its off.

Who in their right mind would risk buying gems? There is no indication that the server glitch will not reappear at any time. Couple that with almost no response from the support team.
Personally, I'm in a wait & see mode for the time being.
