The home area has 9 sectors and it is the only place where you will get to erect buildings. You can see other players by "visiting" them.

so there is no other place that we can build the building other thn the starting ground... ? how come
can the developer make it building every where and unlimited building licence??
the building licence is ok i have no issue with that mechanic at all. I would like to have a random island not one island stamped out millions of times, this erodes the stratagy of the game and you simply create a stamped out layout to go with the stamped out island...why not have a few earthquakes, volcanos, floods. Why have interior streams and islands of no use...I assume this will be expanded on in the future but at the rate people are getting done and filling the island you need to advance now rather than later.
If they had different islands that people would be randomly assigned as theirs, they would need to be carefully balanced to be have equal space (and you'd still have people complaining "wah wah x's island allows better layouts"). That would be far too much work just so people could have different islands.
