Maintenance 4/12 at 12AM PST Spring Update!

From April 12th to May 3rd, the Rabbids are coming to Castle Empire for a Spring event you won’t soon forget. Everyone, prepare your baskets, because festive eggs will be the main resource of this event. You can get these colorful eggs from quests, treasure hunts, and, of course, the shop.

Patch Notes 4/12/2012

NEW FEATURES
• Adventure: There are 5 new adventures
• Item: A further adventure is available in exchange for map fragments
• Item: There are 2 new resource boxes (normal and luxury) that you can purchase by exchanging map fragments
• Item: You can purchase a mysterious adventure box in exchange for map fragments
• Chat: The last global channel you used will be rejoined the next time you login
• Mail: Item trade mail will now have a timer to return items of expired offers
• Daily quests: There are now 100 new daily quests implemented
• Graphics: Animations reworked: cannon forge, coking plant, bakery
• Graphics: Graphics reworked: witch tower, smelter level 5, bakery

SPRING EVENT
• Special new adventure chain, including 10 adventures
• New Specialist: The rabbit explorer
• New Specialist: New general who is able to command 250 units
• Several (special) items available in exchange for eggs

BUG FIXES
• Delay of the geologist’s return fixed
• Mail: Wrong sender name fixed
• Mail: There are no “new message” notifications for expired mail anymore
• Chat: Joining 2 global channels simultaneously isn’t possible anymore

As a side note, we know that there were recent problems with Castle Empire and we are continuing to address these issues. This content was ready as of last week, so pushing this live has not taken away any valuable time trying to fix the current game issues. I will let you know when I have more information on the progress of these bugs.

Yes, I am slightly concerned also LordVarlot. Also pretty excited. I did pass along to my Guild to make sure they finish any Adventures today or at the very least bring their Generals home. Lets see what happens.

I'm more concerned that the update with new content is being implemented while several players have issues remaining. Cannot log in, missing generals, etc... Are those players, (myself included) going to have just sit idly by and miss out? I really think BB should fix what's broken before throwing more potential problems into the game. Have fun with the update guys. I have no generals to play with. Day #3 and counting.

I would consider myself a medium gem buyer. $25 or so a month. I have been a supporter of this game for awhile. I understand it is beta and problems arise as such. I feel they are dropping the ball by adding the new content while there is such widespread issues remaining. It's a sad situation when I cannot use the items I paid for. Generals, Adventures etc... I certainly hope I have full functionality tomorrow when the update is pushed. I think I will start shopping for other games to spend my money on.

I'm ofcourse excited for new features and the Easter Event but I share the same feelings as the above. I think its unfair that we still have members who have been locked out of CEO for the past 4-5 days with vague responses until yesterday and the one good response they did see was more of sorry but we can't help you, we have to wait for the devs to get around to it.

If their issues won't be fixed that only furthers my feelings that they should be compensated more than any of us that lasted through the server melt down. I for one in their shoes would be highly upset already and even more so by missing out on an event to no fault of their own. Don't get me wrong, I do really want this event to happen. I just believe things should be put right before it does Here's to hoping the dev team has their issues addressed before the start of the event tomorrow.

Biggest question i have is: does the general and explorer stay after the end of the event or only available during?

This irritates me too no end gonna be going on 6 days of not being able too log on and your gonna crash the server with more stuff??? Makes no sense at all too me would be nice if before you did new problems we got some of the old fixed up... On test server it was impossible too earn the generals took too many eggs so its simply another scheme too get more money, i get that i dont work for free either, but you have our money already and i have nothing from you... i sure hope it gets fixed REAL SOON... shouldnt be adding in new stuff when your customers are out in the wind...
