Chat sever login fail

I have been having the same issue. Lately, my Chat Server goes away (I just have 2 x News Tabs). Have tried all the basic stuff like clearing Cache/Refreshing/Flash Up to Date and all that good stuff.

There is a known issue with delays and disconnects with the chat server. There are currently known problems with changing between channels, text scrolling, increased lag, and simply not being able to establish a connection. For those who were not present, the Friday night trivia event had to be delayed because people simply could not answer the questions due to multiple minute delays in posting text, for those able to get to the channel at all.

This issue has been sent to the server team and they are working on a fix. It is not an individual problem; it is happening to everyone. It does seem to be volume related, which is why it is not detectable many times of the day and would not be noted on test, where the chat server volume is much lower and more spread out.

Same chat issue for the past two days; tonight is worse since it doesn't connect at all - feel like I'm playing by myself

That said, why doesn't bb/ubi announce they are aware of the issue and are addressing it (best case: give us an estimate-to-completion)? Put a message on the login splash page, in-game e-mail...something!

Not intending to bash CLs, but my money goes to ubi/bb - they should be taking the lead on addressing issues directly with paying customers, not pawning it off to CL players who will merely get caught in the cross-fire.

Same here. Even after clearing cache's and cookies and such it still fails. all i have is whisper and news.

I am having an issue with my chat today and being able to tell if people are online. I logged in and only the whisper and news tabs showed up in my chat window and also it is telling me that there is absolutely no one in my guild online when my significant other plays as well and we live together so I know he is online but he is showing as offline on mine and i am showing as offline on his. I have refreshed my screen, logged out and back in again, closed out of the internet entirely and logged back in and still these issues persist. I am wondering if this is a known bug right now or if this is something totally new. IF it is new I am hoping that it will be able to be fixed as it is definitely causing trouble in being able to play the game.

looks to be all over as the issue is happening in my guild also..most are down but it looks like some are ok..all other functions seem to be ok
