Upgrade Building for Gems

The option to upgrade a building for gems has been there for a while but it always says coming soon. Any ideas how soon that might be?

they have not posted any information about that functionality beyond the fact they mention here that they will be changing the building interface, cut and paste below, so the option may be going away.

• Building interface:

The interface that shows up when you select a building will be simplified. Several actions will be put into a new toolbox (see below). If a building is buffed, you’ll see the remaining time of the buff.
