new to the game saying hi and a few questions.

i hate to sound like the newb and bother everyone.

but new to the game and rly want to try and learn.

my main questions r how do you gain more resources whats the best way ? if i have 2 fishing spots do i produce more fish ? same with lumber ECT ?

i noticed in the tutorial you get the geologist and the explorer. how do you get these people in the game ? or do they just show up as u level up?

More production buildings (for example 2 fisheries). Position of the fisheries in relation to storage (storehouse and mayor's house) because the further they have to walk the less they produce in the same amount of time. Also buffing by using fish plates (sandwiches and baskets later on) temporarily doubles output.

Later on upgrading them also increases resource gain

The geologist and explorer are in the Star menu located near the middle bottom of your screen.

ok cool thanks so maybe if i could ask a few more.

i see im running out of resources and i guess its because as noted u said having the store house far away makes it take longer. so whats the best plan of attack just sit and wait ? also do resouces continue to go up while im offline ? if not can i leave the game open and comp on to get more ? is that considered cheating lol
