Thanks guys this is an awesome update. I cant wait!
In my example, I remained online for hours. Try it once. Login, wait 15 minutes, and click Update on the Trade tab. Wait an hour & click Update again. Observe the size of the scroll bar. Click Update again. Note how much larger the scroll bar is now.
I documented this behavior in post #30 on page 1. Here's the direct link. Note the scroll bar sizes in the pictures. Has nothing to do with logging in less than 10 minutes ago. Again, I was logged in for hours. http://forum.thesettlersonline.net/t...l=1#post174211
Hobknocker, the trade window resets (clears) it's history (as if you had just logged in) whenever you change to an adventure zone, and come back. It *MAY* also reset when you come back from visiting a friend's Island (not sure about that one). That may be part of the phenomenon you are seeing.
That's not what I was describing, but I have seen the behavior you're referring to; though it doesn't behave that way consistently. If you simply login, wait 15 minutes & click the update button. Now, without leaving your island, wait an hour and click the Update button again. Note the size of the scroll bar, and immediately click Update again. Scroll bar's size will be much larger. The longer you wait between the 2nd and 3rd clicks of the Update button, the more pronounced the scroll bar's size differences will be. Day of week and time of day will also factor in, as busier times generally lead to more trading activity.Hobknocker, the trade window resets (clears) it's history (as if you had just logged in) whenever you change to an adventure zone, and come back. But everything I've described is repeatable, and doesn't involve leaving your island.
when are we getting pvp, this game is getting very boring. Doing the same thing everyday....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....................
This are great news !
It was time for a new tutorial. And its a wonderful idea to show the distance to the next storage and deposit. i am sure this will help lots of newbies to place the building at the right spot (saves lots of recourses because a whole map rebuilding later is not needed anymore, and newbies will get an idea where to place buildings).
Because of an own tool tab, i am not sure if this is really necessary, but maybe i just didnt understand the point of it. we will see ...
And YES ! it was time to let us move the buildings. i am wondering how much this will cost. probably something like 200 coins or 100 gems or so *blushes*
New trade tab is also a great idea. But i am not sure if i will like that it is possible to trade all and everything like buffs (and looks on the image like its also possible to trade settlers), if everything is available in trade, then its one challenge in game less. but other way around it makes trades saver because ppl cant be ripped off so easily. has pro and cons, time will show if it was a good idea or not...
And good idea to show all ppl who are online in one spot. its a pain to click through the friendslist to see if someone is online. and also to be forced to add ppl from guild to your friendlist, just to see whos online. a separate friendslist and a guild list doesnt make any sence when i need to add the whole guild in my frienslist.
Guild quests ? Well, for those who like it, good idea.....

been playing a while now...i need larger quantities of water and wheat per field...same with all the resources...cant waste a whole day keeping up with it!!!
also i find that it takes forever for weapons to be stockpiled for adventures....these adventures require a load of troops which most people cant get enough settlers let alone troops to beat it....
Could we get an update on when the event or any of the changes will likely be happening? Knowing when to the event starts will help us prepare for it. Thanks
Well the euro's kick off next week so shouldn't be long now i'm guessing
