has anyone else noticed fields/wells disappearing?

i start the game, build up all my expired wells and fields, go to someone's island to buff or to look, come back to my island, and 2-5 fields are gone, just gone, not expired, and i am also missing 5+ wells that have to be replaced. sometimes it is immediately after i just built said well or field. just gone, and i have to spend even more resources to replace them.

Yes, I've seen that as well. Not with wells, but I don't build them anymore. But with fields, I'll get the message that one depleted, click the menu & build a new one in same spot, and then a minute or so after completion, I get another depletion message & it'll be for the field I just built.

The fix I've found that is to click a couple buildings at random before initiating the replacement build.

While it never happened to me what I am guessing is that it was a lag issue. You ordered them to be built which the client accepted but the server never got the message, or at-least in time. Due to the lag it is possible that the server got the build order after you went into your friends island. So nothing ended up getting built until you came back and tried again. Just a theory...

you have a point zoey, but what about the wells/fields that are half empty that disappear? i've resorted to putting roads around all of my wells and fields just so i can tell when some are missing :/

Plus the resources used to build them the first time are consumed & not returned. I'd say that rules out lag.

Interesting, are the wells/farms only effected in the same spots making it a repeatable bug that you can cause at will?

no, random spots all over the island, most of the time in zone 2, 3, and 9, which is where the majority of my wells and fields are.

The best thing you could do is send a ticket to report the bug. I don't think anyone could come up with a temp solution to this problem if it is happening on your island on such a massive scale. However it is good that you aren't alone in this issue which should add up to more reports of it and quicker action to fix it.

yeah i got a response from the people and they said they are going to try to recreate the bug to see what it is and how to fix it, so we shall see
