Has anyone else been having trouble whispering using the whisper command? Mine stopped working about 2 days ago. I can click on someone's name and whisper but cannot do it by typing in /w "username". I've done it before so I "think" I know what I'm doing... it's just no longer working.
when you use the command, are you pressing the spacebar after the person's name? The full syntax would be something like this: "/w [username] " (w/o typing the squarebrackets, of course). But without the trailing spacebar, it doesn't work. You can't omit the trailing space & just press the Enter key, for example.
I have not been adding a space after the name. I will try once I get home today. Thanks Hob
also it appears if your caps lock key is stuck on, /W does not work. (notice it is BIG W not little w)

It WAS the extra space after the username that I was leaving out. I was pressing enter immediately after the username. Thank you both for taking the time to post and help me out.
