    Why I cannot play anymore...

... wells, wheat fields, and mines.

I just got done sending a letter to my buff partner to stop buffing me. I don't plan on logging in as much, if at all. I feel like all I ever do when I login is send my explorers and geos out then build fields, wells, and mines for an hour. By then, I'm bored out of my mind and don't feel like investing another hour to do an adventure.

So in short, this game (at level 38.5) has boiled down to doing island maintenance. Its not enjoyable, and I feel like I'm doing chores. All I want to do is just be able to login and run an adventure from time to time.

Oh, and between the maintenance, I am posting offers in the trade tab to buy wheat and water, which never amount to enough. Because I can only ever receive 400 of a resource at one time, I have to repeatedly make offers over and over and over again. Once again... another chore for me to do.

The point of this thread is to provide my feedback on the playing experience. My hope is one of the BB reps will pass it on to the devs.

    Thanks!

Sounds like you're more of an RTS guy. There aren't very many games out there that allow you to just log in and do the one thing that you like best in the game.
All MMORPG's require playing time to reach the "end game." In this game, building your economy is what allows you to enjoy the end game.

The question, that you found the answer to for you, is whether or not the "work" is worth it to reach the end game. I personally enjoy working the economy. I enjoy the numbers of the game, etc. I also enjoy the adventures. Enjoying both of those aspects of the game is the reason I continue. If I didn't enjoy one or the other I'd leave too.

There are several games out there that can be played how you describe "just log in and play the fun part for an hour."

Anyway, it's good feedback, but I wouldn't recommend they change anything based on your experience. It's just not your type of game, they can't (and shouldn't try to) make everyone happy.

Hope you find a fun way to spend some time.

The major problem is that the highest level fields and wells don't even come close to the efficiency of the 1st and 2nd level ones (and the required level is kinda high IMO). If they had them available a bit earlier and at a similar cost per wheat then it might not be as bad. As it is once you get higher level farms you're going through those level 2 fields pretty quick, and you need a ton of wells to keep up with higher level production buildings. Sure you could buy a bunch of watermills and silos with gems or from a gem seller but that's quite a high cost (especially considering the restructuring to make the silos work properly).

Honestly I'd just be happy if as I said they made the level 3 fields and wells a bit more feasible with a lower cost and level requirement (and maybe even a 4th level at 50 in place of the current ones), though I guess that's just another way of increasing gem sales.

Fortoom I'd suggest instead of quitting just get out of production of anything that requires wheat or water and find someone that mass produces them (or find someone that you can buy lots of wheat and water from). That way you wont have to deal with the trickle of trades you get from listing on the trade tab.

i am in agreement...i love to do adventures however it does seem that while im rebuilding my armies all i am doing for at least an hour a day is replacing fields and wells...wish there were a bigger field and larger wells for level 30+...i do like the trading but maintaining is getting a bit old
