Lousy daily quests costs/reward
My daily quest today is to produce 50 scaffold rods. Thats (500 bronze swords -> 10 iron swords) x 5, that is, probably x5, although if taken literally its x50, even worse (similar errors in quest statement have occurred for other conversions).
So, 2500 bronze swords, par value about 160 coins -> 50 iron swords, par value about 20 coins plus reward 400 horses and 50 coins.
Total ~160 coins -> ~80 coins plus lots of time.
The conversion of bows -> longbows and bronze swords -> iron swords should be more like 500 -> 50 or 100, not 500 -> 10.

you can always cancel them. Many of mine have been of questionable benefit to my city.

Many of them are absurd and seem to have no logical value to doing them. Awful rewards for costly actions, and while those of use who know better to cancel them will do so newbies won't. Whomever made much of the quests obviously put no real thought into them at-least when it came to rewards. A successful quest should always be a profitable action to do without exception.

actually I would go so far as to say that the vast majority of these so-called daily quests are worthless and should be deleted as soon as you see them. Couple this with their slow as molasses upgrades, lack of communication and unnecessary fixes (ie. barracks/provision house stops producing while upgrading) make me think BB has no clue about how to run an online game. I'm extremely close to quitting because of the a fore mentioned issues plus the fact that I see nothing of worth for me once I reach 50. I have loved Settlers for years and years but this online version is severely lacking in so many ways I'm actually ashamed i spent real money on it.

And today, my daily quest is to finish the adventure "Traitors". I don't even have that adventure. So, for a daily quest, I'm supposed to send an explorer on a 24-hour search that just maybe might find the particular adventure I need. Or try to buy it at some astronomical cost. Then work my way through one of the most costly adventures at this level. It would be my third adventure, and I was in the middle of my second already.
