bronze sword production halted during upgrade from lvl 4 to 5

so I'm upgrading a bronze sword from 4 to 5 it takes 7 days, and lucky for me the production has stopped at 6 seconds so I guess I'm locked out of making any swords for 7 days. Why is production stopped? I haven't seen this happen on any of the other buildings. I'm guessing I've lost many thousands of swords at this point because both of the bronze swords that are upgrading are stuck at 6 seconds left on their production and my supply of bronze swords hasn't budged in the last several days during the upgrade.

Is this a known issue?

This isn't a "known issue" so much as how the game works. Every building stops production during upgrades. Once you click the upgrade button, the building's progress bar will continue to fill until the bar is about 99% done. Then it halts. When the upgrade completes, the cycle finishes and it resumes its regular cycle timing.

This process is less noticiable on shorter upgrades, but you can easily see it on any 1 hour upgrade. Or, if you time any upgrade to start just before a building completes a cycle, you should see it there as well.

The only buildings that don't stop during an upgrade are the barracks, production house, and of course the storehouses and residences.

Thanks Hobknocker and bombcar, I hadn't noticed the production halt during upgrades before this. I'll have to stagger my upgrades moving forward so I don't end up with a week where I have nothing coming in for the upgraded item. A week without bronze swords hurts a little.

Some of our players are experiencing Barracks and Provision House stopping now after the patch...

My ph and barracks have also stopped working. Not only that, everything that was waiting to be made is fn missing!!!
