Buff Event 5/25 1PM to 3PM PST

On Friday, 5/25 the Settlers Online community team will be hosting a server wide buff event just in time for Memorial Day! During this event BB_MrGrimm, BB_Mistapink, and BB_Katealyst will all be in-game fielding questions and doing GM trivia. If you answer these questions right you will be awarded with Gems! If that’s not enough, buff codes will be released to the community giving players 10 buffs to use on their friend during the event and over the holiday weekend. It seems like the perfect weekend for some Exotic Fruit Baskets and Aunt Irma’s Gift Baskets!

When: Friday 5/25 from 1PM PST to 3PM PST

What: We will be holding an in-game event where BB_MrGrimm, BB_Katealyst, and BB_Mistapink will be online doing trivia, giving out universal buff item codes that everyone can redeem and use to buff their friends

Prize: During the event we will be giving out 10 Buffs

Important to note: Given the timing of the event we know many people will be at work. That being said, the buff codes will work even after the allotted two hour period. We will leave these codes up over the weekend so at the very least you can get some buffs and buff some friends!

I am new here, and very confused. Will everyone have the buff codes to buff friends with, or is it just the 10 people who will get the buffs?

Personally, I think it's very ignorant of you as a company to offer some stupid "free rewards event" when you still haven't given us our stuff for the test server run...my code for that still won't work and you still haven't sent me a new one...

Or is it the FIRST person to answer correctly will win gems, the rest get nothing but the free buffs ? .
And what is to stop us from e-mailing our guild the buff codes. Or re posting the buff codes on Global chat every hour ? .
And don't slam me for pointing this out, If I can think of this, so can a few hundred others.

We want everyone to share the buff codes and use them over the weekend. Once the event starts we will post the codes in this forum thread and in-game for people to redeem. Everyone can redeem these codes and get these buffs. For GM trivia, only people who answer the questions first will get Gems.

Think of it like this : There is a buff weekend that will last until Monday where you can redeem codes for free buffs and use them on your friends. During the two hour time period we will be having trivia and basically just be around in-game to help and answer questions.

All rewards were sent out last week. If you got a code, it should work. There was a problem at the beginning of the day where they were broken. If it still doesn't work, please send in a new ticket to Customer Support.

I have no code in my email...and yes i was on for several of the indicated times...and last ticket i opened you did absloutely nothing about it but send me a few replies basically telling me tough sh*t but in a very polite tone...at last check its been 3 days without a response now to my last reply...so tell me, what reason besides "hoping" that you will give what you say this time do i have? I have no problem not getting freebies...its when stuff is promised and stated to be easy and simple and it never is.

so from my point of view...your setup mimicks Regan Mercantile too much for me to expect anything but shoddy support...while i would open a ticket about it...i don't feel its worth 2 weeks of waiting and playing email tag with your customer support...if as you say it's very easy to tell who the multi account users are, then i don't see how it takes over a week to make a couple of mouseclicks to correct an error...
