When I attack, I usually just have a great amount of troops more than the opposing team. If you think about it logically, the more troops over the enemy, the less you lose .

don't just think of recruits when thinking of fodder, bowmen are useful fodder sometimes for adventures as they can shield longbowmen and crossbowmen from being attacked by Attack Weakest Unit enemies coupled with the fact that they can be cheaper if buying bows/looting bows from adventures/trading for bows and they also take barely longer in the barracks than recruits and hit higher!

I try to have 250 Troops waiting ,just in case I loose the 1st 250 Troops.I find it better to have some bowmen with the best troops.Don't no.It seems to work out that way

For buffs, when you prepare baskets in the provision house.. Prepare them in small batches like 5 in each batch... for the simple reason that the baskets will become usable quicker instead of having to wait for a batch of 25 baskets to be ready which can take more than 2 hours.

Do not start an adventure if you're not going to be on-line for a while. There is a time frame for finishing.

Use Recruits as cannon fodder, They will be attacked first. If you are attacking 50 scavengers and 20 stone throwers (as an example). Make sure your attacking force consists of at least 50 recruits 20 Militia and 20 bowman. You will loose quite a few Recruits but your higher value assets should not be touched.

tutorial; first off do not double make buildings in tutorial at least until level 15, one quest will ask you to upgrade a building and it will give you 120 hardwood planks and 100 marble from completing the quest previous to upgrading buildings, when you get to this quest upgrade your copper mine you will still have the hw and marble and will complete the quest.

BRANCH OFFICE: when you hit level 15 start turning your firwood into hardwood, and your stone into marble.
this function can be done using the provisions house or hotkey "p" and selecting resources, and clicking on lonly marble block and hardwood door
