Memorial Weekend 5/26 50% bonus gems sale

I'm a little confused by today's gem sale. The page it takes you to seems to be promising fewer gems for your money now than the number that is crossed out above it (e.g. $49 was 11,000 gems + 6000 bonus gems, now 16,500 gems). Is that a typo or something?

Oh nvm, I get it. That bonus that is crossed out was included in the old number, not on top of it. I couldn't remember what the old prices were, and it's not clear from the wording on the page.

I must admit im totally disappointed by the time frame of the gem sale. It started while i was at work and when i got off work the sale was over. I was planning on purchasing and now have to wait for another sale.
