Good gracious people! It's a EUROPEAN SOCCER event! Blue Byte is a German company. Is it so surprising that they would incorporate a Europe-wide sporting event into their game?? We don't have a dog in this fight! Military bases or not, the U.S. DOES NOT have a team in the Union of European Football Associations! Leave it alone! Enjoy it for what it is and try, for once, to step outside your Americentric world view. I'm quite sure Blue Byte appreciates those of us on the Western side of the "Pond" being a part of their game. And, now that we've shown our ignorance of world geography and world sports, they may perhaps attempt to assuage our thin-skinned egos by offering a little U.S. flag in some future event. But I would have Blue Byte know that I for one do NOT want to see a Star-Spangled Banner in this event. There. I feel better. Let's go get a brew.
