bah... the US isn't even involved in the world cup... and neither is Canada (where I am from) so honestly, it makes sense that there are no flags for those countries. :P

I never watch soccer anyhow... more of a hockey fan. :|

so...there's deer running around all over the field, lots of them
is that a new challenge for the Euro Cup this year??
If my math is correct, you should be able to obtain 900 balls from just doing adv/quests, and no gem purchase involved. That is enough for one new building and no licenses or licenses and some buffs. Best thing to do if no gem purchase is going to be involved, is to utilize the trade option we all have and get more balls that way.
how long does it last?
Might be a bit premature to say how many soccer balls are going to be available per player during event.
I got 12 on first day of the event, plus 90 for finishing the first adventure. Then another 12 today, plus another 90 for this next adventure which I'll be able to finish in a few hrs. That's already 204 soccer balls and it's only been two days.
I have no idea how many matches (adventures) there are, but I'd imagine this event will last more than 9 days if the halloween and xmas events are any indication (I missed easter)
I remember the xmas event and adventure, and I was able to get the coal building no problem so I'd imagine the devs have set it up so that a player can in fact get the friary and 5 building licences without buying gems as long as he/she doesn't spend soccer balls buying buffs.![]()
According to the Germans:
Adventure (6 units á 90 footballs): 540 Daily Quest (1 per day with 12 footballs - 28 days): 336 Total: 876 footballs
