the trade system rly could use some work
if people put on offers and some one reacts on that offer u shouldnt have to wait for the person that put in the offer in the first place to accept it
cuz when u react on it u loos ur reasources til they finaly accept or decline wich is rly anoying

ive had to wait for accept or declines for hours.. meanwhile u have no access to the resources nor got anything for it back wich is just wrong
if they put it in there and i liek the trade and react on it it should be done and final

maybe add a take out offer for the ones that decide they dont want the trade after all for aslong as no one actualy took it
if that makes any sense like u can take back ur offer before some one reacts to it and makes the purchase

that way they can take it back if they made mistake or changed there mind

but it shouldnt have happen that when i see that offer and take it that i have to wait for them to accept since they put it up there

i dno if any one said anything about this before i havent been here this long

like right now im bought 2 types of resourches that i need to build and i got 1 right away other i am waiting for for few hours now... but what i pay for it is gone til they accept or decline... so one way or the other only one suffering from it is me cuz i cant spent that to buy other cuz im stuck waiting for the other person that out up the trade..

My own recommendation for this situation is to not try to buy things you need until you are at much higher levels -- be patient and create, and everything will be at your disposal if you have figured out how to make the economy chug along without running short.

If they would change it so there was a slide bar on the trade option window so you could send up to say 50 trades of a certain type it would make things alot easier, way too much clicking/time consumption trying to sell/buy resources in bulk

The reason they have it set to require you to accept the trade request, is because you can have more than 1 purchase.

Lets say I need 400 planks, and I have 1000 hard wood logs. I offer 300 hard wood logs for 400 planks. The first person to respond, gives me what I need, but then 3 more people respond. If it automatically accepts, the 2 people each give me another 400 planks, and I'm left with 100 hard wood logs. What happens with the 4th person? They give me 400 planks, but I only have 100 logs left, my storehouse can't have -200 logs, and it wouldn't be fair for the 4th player to only get 100 of the 300 they were expecting.

Plane and simple the time out period should be set at 30 minutes. Waiting 8 hours cause someone is to lazy to hit accept or decline is a real turn off.
