I do things a bit differently. I hate the travel time. For the Opening Match I send 2 generals.

    General 1) I send 170C and 30R I attack 1, 3, 5, & 6 I end up with 170C and 7R
    General 2) I send 100S and 100R I attack 2, 4, & 7 I end up with 100S and 7R

Saves a ton of travel time and all I lose is recruits.

I'm not sure if it was said previously in this thread... because to be honest, I read the first page and skipped to the last one... BUT if you go to settlersonlinesimulator.com, there is a battle sim. You select the EM Adventure, put in what enemies there are in the camp and hit the SIMULATE button. The next page that comes up tells you to choose your troops. You can select which troops you have with you on the adventure and you hit the FILTERN button. That will give you a list of suggested troop setups to run, what will be lost, what the exp:loss is, etc. Someone showed this to me and I have used it for the first 3 rounds. It is very accurate... when you send the correct troops.

Thanks bygmak for that info. I didn't even know that was hiding there! This will allow me to tweak the guide a bit and get the goalie fight troops more accurate.

For without the veteran general, I don't believe there is. However, you can use those this guide's numbers as a starting point, then fiddle with them at:
    http://settlersonlinesimulator.com/d...fsimulator/us/
(see bygmak's post on page 3).

Even easier way to get to the same information is to fill the enemy troops and then hit the blue icon to the right of the Simulate buttons. It has "(load Hall of Fame)" text next to it. This will open the troop selection menu. Once you select the troop types you have you will be able to see a full table with all different possibilities.

In short - I love this tool.

Its faster. You don't have to "Simulate" first and then use "Filtern" every time. With the hall of fame it does calculations automatically once you click on the troop type.

    Highlighted a typo. Match 3. Camps 7 and 10 are 30 Midfielder, 120 Defender.
