The Opening Match- Soccer Event Adventure Guide

Decided to try the Advanced Level 3 Match. I did this at level 36. Lost 550 R's! I also brought along 185C, 20S and 60 LB. Earned 12800 XP. Not sure how this compares to doing regular Match 3 at level 36, since I was a 34 when I did it. However, I remember only losing about 250 R's to go through it the first time, and getting about 11400 XP. Anybody else have experience with other advanced matches?

I lost 164 Rs on each of two of the last groups (attacking with 180R and 20S) going up against 60M and 120D. It was the best combo I could come up with using the combat sim. It projected up to 178 losses of recruits. so I was under that. I think with 200R the possible maximum loss was 200R.

Group Combos

First 2: 120F, 30D - Attacked with 200R, lost 36 and 37
Next 2: 90M, 40D - Attacked with 15R and 185C, lost 12 and 10
Next 2: 70M, 60D - Attacked with 22R and 178C, lost 19 each
Last 4, outer two groups: 60, 120D - Attacked with 180R and 20S, lost 164 R each
Last 4, inner two groups: 60M, 70D - Attacked with 25R 175C, lost 22 each
Goal: 1 Goalie, 60M, 70 D - Attacked with 50R, 90C and 60 LB. Lost 45 R

Lol btw if you want even less losses on the goaly use 170 calvary 20 recruits and 10 Longbowmen/ anything and u lose like 12 recruits,

Quest max losses: 475R, 40C,
Reward: 16100 XP
XP gained per loss ~30XP

So is this final advanced match a good adventure for xp (xp per loss and xp per gold), or are there other soccer matches better?

Tried this against 4th goalie. Lost 20R so I guess stick with your way

Tinkered with the simulator a bit more and came up with 20R/122C/58L with casualties ranging 13-19R
Bought the adventure from the shop and use it and lost 16R
The one I used before had 17-24R deaths according to the simulator

Do you guys think it makes more sense mathematically/economically to do the Advanced quests rather than the Regular quests?

can I return my general home during a match to get more troops? I can't seem to figure out how and I'm out of troops

This guide has a lot of issues, for one with half of these attacks with your cavalry you still have a chance to lose a lot of cavalry, i did not appreciate that their was not a calculator used to make sure the losses you said you took were accurate, in fact i am very disappointed with this guide.

You use the ABSOLUTE lowest losses for your "Rougly" lose. i have yet to only lose what you say you will lose and i have done every soccer match 4 times.

I give you credit for creating this guide i just wish you have put more effort into making the average losses accurate.

Sorry that you don't like the guide. Neither I nor my guild mates had any issues with cavalry. Are you doing the original or the advanced matches? Advanced would definitely require a different setup, as stated. Also, I'm not sure what changes were or were not made to the matches that were buyable in the gem shop. I simply have no way to test them.

I did use a calculator.
If you would please state where and how many cavalry you lost against what enemy troops, I could make adjustments.

I have finished the second match, however the match wont end and I'm not getting any rewards or XP. Not sure what's happening. Is this a gliche that others have experienced? What should I do? I don't want it to be a waste of time
