Gem Sale Question

Is there any pattern to the gem sales?

For example, do they occur every month, or just on holidays, or something to that effect?

I am waiting for another gem sale before I purchase any more gems, and am just curious, as it appears to me that many of these sales occur randomly without any warning/notice/etc.

For all i know there is a sale every day while I am at work....so just would like some feedback on this if possible.

They're kind of random but I would suspect we might get one around July 4th to coincide with the holiday and the 20,000 gem mine.
