wouldn't it be more helpful if there was a feature where you could see who's island you were on?

This feature has already been implemented. When you log in, look at your friends list. Find yourself. Note how there's a double-border around your pic, and the background is sorta pinkish?

Yeah, that's the indicator of which island you're on. Visit someone else, and you'll see.

on the bottom left of the game screen,it would be cool to have like a bar timer to show things like a general transferring to a zone or map
