    number id of buildings

    hi, i think it will be very useful if buildings had progressive numbers (or a textarea inside their control panel to add custom notes). this way it will be easier to manage production and control everything on external apps like http://ceo-economy.appspot.com. even to ask friend for a buff: you could simply tell him the "code" of the building you want to be buffed.

    for example: i have almost 10 fir cutters and 10 fir foresters. very difficult, at the moment, to point at the right building without a discriminating indication.

    I think the more general solution is to be able to highlight an arbitrary location on your island. "ping" a location, to make a reference to RTS's. This would be a useful feature for 2+ player adventures and I'm sure PvP. I think this could be very useful, in general, and more intuitive. I will add this to the suggestions thread now.

    This reminds me of a game (I don't remember which one) where you could get a x/y coordinate that you could pass on specifically for this type of thing. There was a 'give me x/y' and a 'find me x/y' which might also help you remember where that stray stable was as well as buffing instructions.
