Is there no way to destory buildings or mines now? If that is true it doesn't make sense (in RL you go and bull doze a building or close up a mine) and hampers our ability to manage space and resources as we see fit.

Sagminor, in the new menu section, you will see an icon of a toolbox. Click on that, and you will find the familiar "bomb" icon.
