Adventure level changes with out notice? Going for less players BB?

Ok BB you post the change about the new blocking change, However not the level change required in some adventures.
Are you going for more or less players? You can do better then this and your piecing this game like your amatures.
I can buy Victor the Vicious and yet can't play it? Outlaws I can not do now. Old friends I earned in Witch of the swamp and can't play now. Traitors and sons of veld worthless. I take it you want no more Gem purchases from me to I hit level 36. I had a 3 player set up for this weekend with two guild friends that is now canceled do to the fact we are not level enough now. This came to a big surprise to me when I wanted to start an adeventure that I did a week ago at level 30 that I can't do at level 33 now?

Well it's cash cut off time to I see a few single and at least a few 2 and 3 player adventures I can do with friends. I'm very dissapointed BB.

I agree. This was a very bad move on their part. I too spent real money in this game. My motivation for spending the money is to do the adventures. Now I can not do the adventures, therefore, I will no longer be spending the money. I am lev 32 and it will be a long way and long time before I spend another dime. Of all the changes you made this has to be the worst.

Im lvl31, Is that why my explorer comes back with only map fragments? I now have a total of 30 fragments. I want adventures and I don't want to have to send my explorer out to gather 70 more fragments to buy an adventure. 24x more to get 100 fragments.

so heres the math for 100 map fragments
explorer goes out.
34x= 34 days
50x sausages=1700
10x gc=340 gc
Is it worth it?

I have not gotten an adventure other than Sotv, VTV, traitors, or Secluded experiments since the gem mine patch. I really believe they have nerfed drops. I run 6 explorers a day, and get frags and the before mentioned adventures. I believe they must be trying to stop people from leveling as quickly as before. I am level 45 currently and have little hope of getting to 50 at current drop rates.

what adv exactly is the 3 man you could do but are no longer able to do? Victor has always required lv36 to start it (there is no lvl cap to be invited to an adv).

To recap on what I know so far is "Old Friends" had a level 32 cap and that is now 36. Victor I can buy from shop at level 32 with a level 32 requirement however its level requirement is now 36. That was very disappointing since I had planned to do it with two fellow guilders.

At first when I could not activate the ones I have done before I figured it was just a need to refresh. I refreshed and still did not work. I logged out and back in. That did not work. I then proceeded to close my browser (my browser is set to clear all when I close it) reopen it and log back in. Still no change. I knew my browser and flash was up to date so I put in a bug report. About 2 hours later I receive a generic "we received the issue blah blah blah" email. Then a remarkable 17.5 hours later I receive a generic "check your browser, flash, clear your cache blah blah blah". This showed me in fact they did not read the issue or they would have known I took those steps. After pointing that out in another email I received yet another email apologizing for the miscommunication and yet they had no clue I already found this issue and pointed it out it was a level requirement change. This surprises me cause I am a rather large fan of Ubi and BB. This is not their normal level of support.

I also agree about the sending out of the Explorer. I do not even bother with that. It is a lot cheaper and less hassle to buy the map fragments or the actual adventure itself from other players. Traiters for the man power required is a complete waste of time and resources and most players I have talked to agree.

As a hobbyist game developer I know it is common practice to make sure leveling is fair, even, and also not to easy. Nothing more frustrating as a developer when you have say 25 levels out and you have a few hundred hungry players screaming more. You do not want the players out leveling the capacity of your development team. Players get frustrated and leave, developers get stressed and quit followed by the game hitting the basement bargain shelf if it even survives. Here the development team is pretty awesome. I have seen many improvements since starting here. On the other had no one likes it when something they like is suddenly out of range. This is a current boo-boo of the development team. These current changes in the adventure system was a bad bad bad idea. The team needs to work on adding fresh content slightly more difficult and challenging without changing the old. And mistake two. The support team should know the changes in a briefing before hand. Let's just hope then next change is for the better and not another one step forward and twenty jumps back. The Settlers name has got a long awesome history lets see if we actually hit the bar here and continue that tradition.

You can get Nords with gems too.

some adv (like nords) are only available from hunts. Those adv are plenty worth the times when you just get map frags. Best hunt is the medium one as that gives you a chance at good adv and isnt too costly for the map frags AFTER you calculate in the value of the adv you get. And getting 30 frags between hunts that you get an adv is common enough. And the most important reason to do hunts is...cause without adv you will NOT level.
