    Question Residences

Good morning CEO's. Given the fact that building residences cost licences, and unless your a gem buyer, those licences are hard to come by. How many residences do you really need to play this game? I've read some of the posts on the adventure quests and have seen where thousands of troops are neccessary to finish the quest. Thanks for the help.

I really thought that by putting the question mark by the title, it would get noticed because it's a question about the game itself. I quess not. The question itself is problably better answered by the individual themselves. I just thought that maybe someone out there had an answer for me. Guess not. I guess the only way (I'm sure there are others, just not this one) to draw attention to you post is by counting to 1000 lol.

FINALLY!!! Thank you TheSource. I know I could have plugged in any number. Just wanted some thoughts on the situation. 5000 sounds good. I'll keep playing for awhile (still have all the adventures to do).

Thanks for the info omega_flames. Can you please explain what a "mere bump" is. I'm unaware of this process.

A bump in forum terms is adding a post to a thread to get it back to the top of the list.

In regards to your population question, it really depends on the types of adventures you want to do. The higher the difficulty of the adventure the more troops you will need. I have seen people with islands that have population in excess of 10,000. Personally I am around the 5000 mark, and see no reason to change that at the moment. However, you can be sure that those with higher population, when PVP is implemented, will have a distinct advantage over those with lower populations. All things being equal.

aim for 3k pop for any adventure worth doing. onlyneed higher than 3k for chaining adventures in which case you need as much as you can get depending on how active you are / your barracks level / your bsword/brew/bread/bow buying/making power. personally i've found 3500 pop (3,700 now including epic buildings) works for me as i rarely have time to chain so many adventures i would run out of troops.
