    Opinions on new auction channel

Just wanted to get everyone's opinion on this. Arcain had brought this up in guild chat and I kinda like the idea. A seperate auction for higher priced items? Nothing sucks more than waiting through VTV, SoV, meat and fish deposits for something like granite or frags...

Tell me how you feel about this please

It wouldn't be a separate channel for everyone that gets mad in regular auction. It would be a 2nd auction channel to help ease the congestion of having 20 sellers inline and it taking an hour to be your turn. The idea is so people wanting buy and sell "big ticket" items; anything that sells over 1k, or in the expert tab, and gems wouldn't have to wait on auctions for so long. Again, its NOT for people who don't like some auctioneers, or get grumpy bc they have so little patience. Think of it as Global-2 expanding.

Sounds like an awsome idea, while the meat n fish depos r great I agree and would like to see another room for the higher value/ priced items.

    - In theory.. sounds fine.. In practice however, alot of those "high rollers" snatch up those smaller ticket items. I watch em all day long scoop up fish depots, meat and ore depots like they are candy. Those that want to trade small ticket items can also broker their own goods in other trade channels just as easily as at auction. The only real benefit to the auction channel is you can unload large quanities to single buyers. There really is no other reason for it.

Plus I hear that BB has said the channel in practice is a violation of EULA or something, probably would help those of us who rely on the auction channel to have any more than what we have already. Not sure what how or when they might expand on this, considering at this time, they turn a blind eye to it, as it likely is an enhancement to the game they did not forsee flourishing as it is.

What would help is if BB did in some capacity implement an auctioneering bot or allow for volunteer moderator status to keep the channel policed and clear of some of the trolling that does break out from time to time. It would allow for fast safe and secure auctions even more or than how we have policed it ourselves (as players).

Perhaps what we need is like a High Roller Power Hour... hosted on a weekly basis. Like last night, 10 auctioned items rolled through for 45K worth of gold.. was intense.. having a time for such high ticket items ... MIGHT.. be a better solution, than segregating to a second channel.

I very much like this idea, perhaps even on a daily basis. Another auction channel would be nice, but I would like to point out people can't be in two places at once which would stink.

I honestly think we would just need a police squad or a mod of some sort to help weed out the spamming then maybe the regular auction channel would go more smoothly.

On a daily basis I clear my ignore list an on a daily basis I have to add two or three more people onto it. haphappy has gotten worse for instance. If these rude people would just get put on a more permanent ignore or a more powerful person moderating the auction then I think it would be alright
