    Population question - noob here

OK - I've read that in the beginning new settlers are given every 15 minutes or so. And I've read that if your population ever overflows (goes over the cap) no more new settlers will come. Does that mean until you build more residences, or forever? I'm at level 17, I did have a population overflow due to not building new residences, and I've had no new settlers in a long, long time. Is this because I screwed up, or because I just don't get any more?

Hi LimeTerrier. The population will never go over the cap. In the upper left corner, there is a settler face. Place your mouse arrow on the face. The dropdown tells you what your current population limit is. Example: 900/1000 On the right side is the number of settlers you can have, on the left side is the number of settlers you currently have. In this example, you still have room for 100 settlers. If both of your numbers are the same, then you will need to build more residences. Hope this helps.

Thanks William. Actually, my question was more of will more settlers just appear for me, or because I didn't provide enough housing for the ones that came in and they stacked up in my star menu for a while, did that screw me for the rest of the game for having spontaneous ones appear, or will I have to buy them with the provision shop from now on.

I believe I've answered my own question! I am still getting them, but I didn't think I was. I do appreciate the help anyway.

The settlers don't stack up. Once you have reached the limit, the timer stops on making more. You will need to build more residences to start the timer again.

Just want to add something, be sure to try to buy noble residence deeds they do not take up building license.

    Don't mess with the pro'z.
