You can also move it while upgrading.

BTW, you do keep any buffs on a building when you move it.

It isn't difficult to move the storehouses. Build a new one then bomb the old one.

I love love the new move feature, but I wish we had some variation in the direction the buildings face. And I wish we could move the trees and tree stumps plus the bushes.

LOL If you can afford to have a level 4 or 5 storehouse...you can afford to replace it. Seriously tho...I would think if you do have one at that level then you have already figured out the best layout since you have been at this for a good while.

I don't get the issue with the footprint. unless you are moving the building 1 block from where it is, there is no issue. I rearranged my entire island and did not have any issue at all as long as I thought out things ahead. If you have to move it twice, move it twice.
