you can build a dock on the water and sail to another island to start a new settlement. you still have your all your supplies but you have to gain new territories and fight harder bandit camps. but it gives you more things to do in the game.

i think something should be done to the water we have.Mostly everything in settlers is land based except fisherman. We should have some type of water structures
