how to improve daily / guild quets
first of all i think the daily quest system in general is a good addition, and the new guild quest system is also a great addition; however both of these systems need a bit of polishing.
i propose using this thread to discuss and post recommendations on how these 2 systems can be improved. ill go first.
i dislike the fact that you cannot cancel guild quests and that completed quests cannot be cancelled. this sounds trivial but it has a bad side effect. what i mean is:
THE PROBLEM:
supposed you get a quest to turn in a certain number of resources that you rather NOT turn in. if you have the resources then the quest completes and the items are gone against your wish.
if you already have the items when you log in, then the quest completes before you have a chance to cancel it. also guild quests cannot be dropped.
THE SOLUTION
i should be be able to have the choice of keeping the items and not completing the quest.

I think a solution would be to put the donated goods into a guild bank. Let the officers distribute the goods for the betterment of the new guys.

A guild bank is an excellent idea. There are so many things the developers could do with that idea that would improve the play experience for most of the player base.
