Granted- your settlers start working harder, but the work is sloppy. The bread is unedible. The swords shatter when you attack. The arrows fly crooked. Then the work cuts off. All the settlers are hung over, several are dead of alcohol poisoning. Now whenever it rains, the only settlers that do any work, and the breweries- who have double production.
