Granted, but the coconut trees are invasive and take over your entire island, choking out all the oak and pine trees. Coconut wood makes for very poor construction, but at least the coconuts seem kinda sturdy. The bad news is, your economy collapses without viable lumber. The good news is your island looks a LOT like Gilligan's Island. Oh yeah, more bad news -- without decent lumber you cannot build any more boats and you are stuck on the island... did I mention this was like Gilligan's Island?

Granted. Night time comes but it stays dark for months because someone forgot to program the transition to dawn. Without light the crops fail and trees becomes diseased. Looters have stolen the gold, troops are figuring out how to get off the island to get beer, and there is no hope of a new day dawning.
I do so wish we had games within the game to play like poker, blackjack, scrabble, or the like. Boredom comes.

Granted, but the developers put all the money into developing these side games and we never get an update on the main game ever again.
I wish we could build an explorer ship and dock and find mini islands to conquer around our large one...
