I'd really rather you didn't take this to a private conversation...I have a vested interest in the information that could be shared in that conversation...we all do...please feel free to "educate" the general TSO public it may help to alleviate some of the stress...or prevent people from spending anymore money on it...either way win for the consumer

I did not remove all of his posts; feel free to find the one that was left up. I merely ask that anyone who has any questions about forum moderation asks me in private. Those are not the types of discussions to have in a public setting.

I never said you removed his posts, i was pointing out that the information he was posting is a valid concern for all of us, knowing what direction the managers of the game are trying to take it concerns all players, the conversation i was referring to was the one you asked him to take to private, I'd much rather read it here then from some global chat rumor mill

The conversation in question would only be about his removed posts and why they were removed (because they were spammed). Discussion of moderation. It has nothing to do with the content of the post; I'm sorry if that wasn't clear.

This thread probably has derailed a bit but if you're still interested in giving the community answers, I'd like to see a response to Gaogan's post and the posts following his.

You guys really need to work on how you handle down time. "We are taking the servers down today" then actual shutdown 20 seconds later is not how you do it. Next time try "We are taking the servers down in {5,10,15} minutes". It would have been nice to be able to shut down my gold chain whose buffs were about to expire before the down time so it doesn't lose me money like it did when the servers crashed last night just before I could shut them down.

In response to the post by Gaogan a few days ago, unfortunately it was an unexpected restart and we didn't have enough time to get messaging out in advance. Thankfully the servers were right back up within a few minutes, though.

i ask because i just bought some silo's.... upgraded them and now we have a server roll back... all that gone?....

i currently have gold running unbuffed.... i don't have huge depos in my mines....

can you give us a clue how far back your going.... what are you going to do for all the lost time...

it has been 4 days. 4 days of me trying to play this game only to find that it is being shutdown for maintenance. Now Today of all days (my birthday) The game will be down until tomorrow... If we aren't compensated adaquetly for all of this. I for one will no longer be playing (or not playing due to maintenance).
