You can only buy 3 of each patch.
They are NOT upgradable.
You can buff them to speed things up.
I'm assuming once depleted they will crash like a mine.

small = 50 pumpkins, 1 per 8 hours, cost 50 stone/100 pwl
medium = 85 pumpkins, 1 per 4 hours, cost 150 marble/200hwp
noble = 100 pumpkins, 1 per hour, cost 10 granite/25 ewp

So a total of 705 pumpkins is possible through patches.
unbuffed, it's a total of 35 days worth, so will need to use baskets.
in my opinion using anything higher might be a waste of resources due to the slow output.

Pumpkins will also be available through quests, and can be purchased with gems
55 gems = 40 pumpkins, 170 gems = 125 pumpkins

I'm curious to see what they'll sell for in gc.
at 2.5 gc per gem, trade value is around 3.5 per, but i bet they'll go for much more than that

Thank you very much ZBest and psaltery, that answers all my questions, and now I can make my calculations and plan ahead.

I want 5 silos and the general, so I will need 3800 pumpkins...not including buying buffs for friends and guildies.

Silo are also limited to three, and only if you didn't buy them during last year's Halloween event. One grim reaper general, same rule applies.

Oh, I just thought of one more question about this.

Are the pumpkin fields harvested by our regular farms? that is will I have to suffer a loss of normal wheat production for this(unless I add farms just for this)? Or will these pumpkin fields harvest themselves?

Another question

The Darkness Buff halts productivity and the Light Buff removes the Dark buff and increases productivity...

How much more productive does the Light Buff make things? 2X? 3X? 4X? and how long does it last?

How much do the Dark Buff and Light Buff cost? (I know it's produced in the provision house, but produced from what and how much for how much?)

light buff is 4x for 2h, costs 10 pumpkins to be built on the ph, and cemeteries have their own harvesting

So 10 pumpkins for a dark+light buff, which on a noble patch gets you +6 pumpkins... so what's the point of these again? For gem buyers to put their gold chains into overdrive?

Really? Hmm. On the test server it only allows you to buy three. Maybe they changed it. Anyone know what was allowed last year?

I'm thinking you wouldn't want to use any buff made with pumpkins on the pumpkin batch itself, since the return on them is too slow.

I think there will be some quests to make dark and light buffs, so you might as well use them. But I agree, they aren't really worth it. In fact, only the noble patches are really going to be worth buffing.
