Brace yourselves Settlers, the evil Halloween event is coming!
It is our great pleasure to announce that the awesome and terrifying Halloween event will launch on October the 18th! It will then come to a close and rest in eternal slumber on November the 8th!
The exclusive Halloween content will be removed from the Shop two weeks after that. (November the 22nd)
If, like me, patience is not your best virtue, you may take part and experience this frightening and exclusive content a lot sooner!
Indeed, the event will be implemented on the tsotesting.com instance at the start of October. Please bear in mind that the final version of the event may differ from the one available on our testing server.
The Halloween event introduces a new resource yes, you guessed well: pumpkins!
After collecting a certain amount of them, you will be able to buy some exclusive content in the Shop including a brand new building!
You will also be delighted to know that there are two permanent buildings and one permanent specialist available: Silo (building), Village School (building), Grim Reaper (general).
Here is a short summary of the content that will be implemented during the Halloween event:
New resource: Pumpkins
Pumpkins are tradable, they are displayed in your warehouse(s) like all other resources.
New buff: Darkness
This buff can be produced in the Provision house. It can be applied to a building,
on a friend's zone. This creates a large dark sphere around the building.
It stops the production of a building.
New buff: A very strong light
This buff can be produced in the Provision house and removes the Darkness effect from any building. It also affects the targeted building with a productivity buff.
New buff: Zombie
This item buffs up production for 12 hours by x4.
New buff: Mr. Myers
This buff speeds up recruitment time (barracks) by 4 for one hour.
New buff: Frank and Stein
This buff refills a marble deposit by 1000.
New NPC: Eliot, the Pumpkin Master
During the Halloween event, you will have the possibility to cooperate
with a unique NPC: Eliot, the pumpkin Master. He will offer you several quests: if you manage to complete them, you will get additional pumpkins!
New specialist: The Grim Reaper
This is a specialist with exactly the same values as the Master General, but his appearance
is different of course (Star menu). One general of this type per player only !
New building: Pumpkin Field
This is a field that produces pumpkins. Players can only buy a limited amount of these fields in the shop. This item can also be buffed, a perfect way to get even more pumpkins! Keep in mind that if your friend buffs you, the buff will last 50% longer!
Building: Silo
This building replenishes corn fields over time. More corn will be replenished
when upgraded.
Buildings: decoration items
A few additional decoration items in the Shop.
New building: Village School
This Village School will speed up the process of getting new settlers in your village.
Game interface: Night!
What would Halloween be like without a dark and gloomy atmosphere? During this event, your island will be covered in darkness!
Music: New background music!
During the Halloween event, the background music (in game) will be replaced.
New graphics!
A few changes will be made to the graphics, e.g. the logo and the loading screen.
