Still can't get on either.............
Are you kidding me?!?! I wasn't going to complain about last night, things happen...ok, so I lost tons of things because I couldn't buff my island, no big...........NOW, IT'S A BIG, you shut me down with only 12 minutes to go on the buffs I had on...AGAIN, I am losing gold/titanium/weapons!!! You seriously couldn't give a warning??? 5 minutes, 10 maybe so we could shut things down???? Now, you can't apologize enough!!
i like randomly lost 70 gems yesterday and i refreshed and everythng and still didnt get them and i also didnt get anthing for the gems that r missing
It's not often I agree with Poly, but have to echo the sentiments here. It's getting to the point of silly. Even the "emergency" shutdowns usually offer a little bit of warning. Had the server been dependable and stable for the past couple of weeks, it would be more forgivable. But it has been terribly laggy, buggy...same old stuff. Even for a F2P game, the continued and constant server issues are inexcusable. While the apology is nice, a long term solution would be appreciated.
Is that the purpose of all the stress tests on the test server? Trying a different service or setup? Otherwise it's moot...the game server is broken with the current features. Any plans to fix this, or is this to be the norm?
i have to agree w polyxena here. no warning at all about a controlled shutdown like this is unacceptable. BB, i kno you have no real control over these issues, so i will not blast you in this post. who i would like to see throttled is the upper management team in your company, and the techies who are supposed to keep these servers running properly. they created a game here which requires micro managing of resources, and also requires user input at specific times or else the user loses out on what they could've had in game. to be suddenly kicked out of the game with only 5 seconds of warning is completely unacceptable in a game like this.
I lost 80 crossbowmen last night during the server failure. Nothing worse than being on an adventure when the game crashes. Oh well, I'd rebuild but the game is down again.
Indeed, I realize that support is probably not kept in the loop regarding extreme details of work being done by developers and maintenance people (as shown from previous ticket responses of mine), however, I wonder if our user feedback results ever go up the chain of the company.
I am in the technology business and our clients are our life blood to the company. You never never send a message "some time today" and then virtually immediately shut everyone down without a period of preparation allowance. Though perhaps I shouldn't say never because obviously you do it.
Unless it's an emergency shutdown, these kinds of actions are totally uncaring, spread dissatisfaction with the customer base and provide more work for the company support crews. It's a very simple domino effect, easy to understand for everyone.
I have recently started to play this game, I have invested money and I have to agree. Last night I lost out on a lot and today, I'm going to lose even more. Now if I hadn't spent money, and just my time, that's one thing, BUT I have... So how are any of us going to be compensated? This answer will ultimately be the deciding factor as to if I continue to invest in this game. Thank you
I can't even log in. I just get that blank screen of death. Tried on three separate computers, and still nothing. I haven't bought gems yet and with this bout of instability I doubt I will.
