BB_Katealyst made a thread here about Ares. She then goes on to explain what to do in subsequent posts:

Ares is now open. New players will now be heading into that server. You can play on both servers as you cannot push from one account to the other that way.

You have to logot of your current account, and hit the register button to start a new account.

That is correct. It will be a whole new account/login
