    Guild quest - accept/decline

I'm in a big guild (at this time: 100 members) and completing guild quests is a big deal, because of the great number of guildies that have to partecipate (specially if they don't join the game frequently). So I thought it could be a good way of solving this matter, by implementing a feature named "accept/decline guild quest" (when it starts), with a "default deny" after, for example, 3 days without answer. This way, the system knows how many guildies really want to take part in.
a time limit could also be useful. a week to complete is a good period of time, in my opinion. when time is over, even if the target hasn't been reached, the quest ends and a new one is offered to the whole guild. just as it happens with adventures.

Yes that would be a good idea. Options/choices are always a good thing.

In my former guild, there are officers who routinely pressure/bully guildies into completing the guild quests. Not good! Kind of defeats the purpose of the guild quests to begin with.

I totally agree to that as well. Currently I would see it as an option that could be added to the guild window. For example, you have a checkbox that says "I want to do guild quests" and players that want to receive guild quest would click that box and would receive guild quest as long as they keep and active status. When a player becomes inactive, that box would automatically be unchecked and any guild quests that they have would also be removed from their quest book, the number needed to complete the main guild quest would also be reduced by 1.

I would also make it so that everyone that have a guild quest have the ability to delete their own guild quest. I don't see why this is available only to guild leaders and is surely one thing that holds a lot of players from completing the main guild quest. So if my guild leader wants to pay the 30 cannons then I would not be penalized and I would also not penalize all the other members of my guild because I only have 5 cannons or I simply don't wish to exchange a cannon for only 3.46 guild coins.

Finally, ONLY players that completes their guild quest receives that small guild quest reward AND the main guild quest reward at completion. That way only players that are active and works toward getting guild coins would be rewarded.

Guild Quest options are always a good thing. For now, TC has a list of GQs that we will do, and a list of those that are deleted upon arrival (because either the guild coin value vs. the required layout in time/resources is negatively skewed; or lack of interest in doing those particular GQs). We also ensure that all members who need high end resources (cannons for example) are provided with them at no cost to them from other guild members so that they are not penalized.

What I would like to see, in the guild shield on each members' page, is a "last logged in" date. That can be helpful in determining whether or not the likelihood of a GQ being finished by the number required is likely or not.

A "decline" option for guild members is a great idea. It would not even have to be per GQ, it could simply be an on/off check where when it is on - that person is not included in any GQs, until unchecked.
